Our Move Coordinator submitted estate office paperwork ahead of the move, applied to Westminster City Council for parking suspensions across three working days, and coordinated arrival windows around the schedules of the neighbouring residents and the building’s part-time concierge. A condition assessment of the staircase, original cornicing, and entrance hall was undertaken with the conservation officer before any movement of larger pieces began.
The family’s collection included several twentieth-century works on canvas and a library of inherited bound volumes. Each significant piece was condition reported, photographed, and crated to order. A second consignment of furniture and personal effects was placed into our London storage facility, where it was held for eight months until the Cotswolds property was acquired and ready to receive it.
