Our dedicated Move Coordinators are here to manage every aspect of your Weybridge move with complete peace of mind.
Weybridge is one of Surrey’s most distinguished addresses, an Elmbridge town shaped by the Thames frontage, the racing heritage of Brooklands, and the prestigious private estates that have given the area its international reputation. From the gated residences of St George’s Hill and Burwood Park to the substantial family homes of Oatlands village and the apartments overlooking the river, our team of experienced Relocation Specialists serves the families, principals, and international residents who call Weybridge home, overseeing every detail of your move from first conversation to final placement.
To begin your Weybridge move, simply reach out to arrange a consultation with one of our qualified assessors. They will review your property and your requirements and provide a comprehensive proposal. Assessments can be conducted at your residence or via virtual consultation, whichever best suits your circumstances. We will then guide you through each stage, including private estate access protocols where applicable, Elmbridge Council parking permissions, and any onward documentation required for international delivery.

Every Weybridge move is different, and our service is designed to reflect that. With our comprehensive shipping options, experienced Coordinators, and trusted global partners, each relocation is thoughtfully designed around your home, your contents, and your preferred timeline.
Our clients in Weybridge most often move to one of three destinations.
Some are relocating internationally, whether to Monaco, the south of France, Switzerland, Singapore, or across the Atlantic to New York, Los Angeles, or Dallas.
Others are moving to a country residence in the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, the West Country, or deeper into Surrey itself.
A third group is moving into prime central London, often to Chelsea, Knightsbridge, Belgravia, Mayfair, or a Battersea riverside development.
Whichever of these describes your move, our Relocation Specialists bring the experience and care to see it through seamlessly. Discretion is woven through everything we do, and every enquiry is handled on that basis from the initial consultation to the final delivery.
Discretion, precision, and a single point of accountability are the principles a Williams and Yates move is built around. Your Move Coordinator oversees the entire process personally, from the first conversation to the final placement, and remains your direct contact throughout, supported by our in-house crews, climate-controlled storage, and a trusted network of international partners.
Your Weybridge move begins with an in-home survey conducted by a senior member of our team. Every detail is considered: access, inventory, specialist handling, scheduling, and any liaison required with the St George’s Hill or Burwood Park estate offices, gated community management, or your receiving property. From there, your Coordinator handles the practical arrangements on your behalf, Elmbridge Council parking suspensions, private estate access paperwork, driveway and gate access planning, and any third-party coordination, with the full plan shared with you in advance.
The packing of your Weybridge home is carried out by our own in-house crews, working to the standards our clients expect for properties of this calibre. Fine art, antiques, and commissioned pieces are crated to each item’s dimensions, with formal condition reporting where the value or nature of a piece requires it. Our fleet includes climate-controlled vehicles for specialist items, and where onward delivery is delayed, our London storage facility provides secure, climate-controlled, and fully inventoried holding.
At the receiving end, our crews unpack and place each piece to the specification agreed with you, your household manager, private assistant, or interior designer. All packaging is removed, the property is left as requested, and the move closes with a final review to confirm every detail has been handled as it should.

Few addresses see the international move volumes that Weybridge does, particularly from the private estates, and your Relocation Manager is here to guide each stage of that journey with precision and care. Our international partner network, combined with our in-house expertise across customs clearance, specialist packing, expedited shipping, and final placement, ensures every element of your move is handled with the attention a Weybridge relocation deserves.
When your next residence is overseas, whether in France, Monaco, Switzerland, Singapore, Dubai, Qatar, the USA, or Canada, we manage the complete chain: origin packing at your Weybridge property, sea or air freight, destination clearance, and delivery. Transfer of Residence relief is applied on entry to the receiving country where you are eligible, helping to minimise duty on your personal effects. Our team is particularly experienced with the international moves common from St George’s Hill and the surrounding estates, where the principal’s primary residence may be moving across continents.
For those moving to a country residence in the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, the West Country, or further into Surrey itself, your Coordinator takes charge of both ends of the move, including any storage arrangements where a Weybridge residence is being retained alongside the country property. For moves into central London, the planning is equally thorough. Moves between a Weybridge estate property and a London address call for the same care and attention as any international relocation.
Weybridge sits within the Borough of Elmbridge in Surrey (KT13), and parts of the area fall within the Weybridge Conservation Area and the Oatlands Conservation Area. The town’s residential profile is dominated by its private estates, including St George’s Hill, Burwood Park, and the adjacent Whiteley Village, alongside the substantial family homes of Oatlands and the apartments and townhouses of the central town. Combined with the gated and estate-led nature of much of the area’s prestige housing, moves from this part of Surrey benefit from a thoughtful, well-prepared approach.
St George’s Hill is one of the most prestigious private gated estates in the United Kingdom, with residences set within substantial grounds and accessed via a private road network governed by the St George’s Hill Residents’ Association. Access for removal vehicles is regulated by the estate’s gatehouse and requires advance arrangement, with vehicle pass paperwork submitted ahead of the moving date. The Burwood Park estate operates similarly, with its own gate access protocols and resident-only road system. Your Move Coordinator handles all estate liaison on your behalf, including pass arrangements, gate timing windows, and any specific delivery and loading guidelines the estate operates.
For properties in central Weybridge, Oatlands village, and the streets surrounding the town centre, parking bay suspensions are arranged in advance through Elmbridge Council as part of our standard service. The streets running through central Weybridge can be busy with school traffic, particularly around ACS Cobham International School and the area’s other established schools, and our crews plan arrival windows accordingly. For properties along the river, including the apartments and townhouses overlooking the Thames, we factor in restricted vehicle access and the often narrow approach roads at the survey stage.
Weybridge’s housing stock is shaped by its private estates and substantial family homes, with a mix of period properties, modern architect-designed residences, and apartments along the riverfront. Two property types stand out for the specific expertise they require.
The homes within St George’s Hill, Burwood Park, and the other Weybridge estates range from substantial period properties to large modern family homes and architect-designed residences, often set within several acres of grounds. Moves from these properties require coordination with the estate office, careful planning of the access route from the estate gates, and attention to the road condition and width within the estate. Your Move Coordinator handles all of this in advance, with the estate access pass, gate timings, and loading windows agreed before the moving day. Many of these properties also have substantial outbuildings, garaging for multiple vehicles, and grounds that warrant their own coordination for ancillary moves.
Beyond the estates, Weybridge’s residential streets, particularly around Oatlands village and the historic town centre, are characterised by substantial period and Victorian family homes set behind generous front gardens. Several of these properties are individually listed, and many sit within the Weybridge or Oatlands Conservation Areas. Our team plans multi-floor removals with original features carefully protected, uses external lifting equipment where required, and ensures full compliance with listed building consent where applicable. Where required, we liaise directly with the freeholder, managing agent, or conservation officer on your behalf.
Working with art, antiques, and significant collections is central to what we do for Weybridge clients. The estates’ international resident community has brought collections of remarkable variety to the area, and every significant piece leaving your home is condition reported and photographed, crated to order where required, and transported in climate-controlled vehicles specified for the value and fragility of the contents they carry. Where the receiving property is not yet ready, items are held in our climate-controlled London storage facility under full security, with each piece tracked by inventory throughout.
Williams and Yates were appointed by an international principal relocating from a modern residence within the St George’s Hill estate to a primary address in Dubai.
The principal coordinated the project directly, acting as the single point of contact across both destinations. Strict discretion was applied throughout to addresses, inventory, and timings, with all documentation shared for review and approval through the principal’s office alone.
The St George’s Hill estate operates a private gated road network with access controlled by the resident gatehouse. Our Move Coordinator submitted vehicle pass paperwork to the St George’s Hill Residents’ Association twelve working days ahead of the move, arranged gate access for the loading vehicles and the support crews, and confirmed loading time windows that complied with the estate’s residential guidelines. The move was structured across two working days, with the largest consignment loaded on day one and final clearance completed on day two.
The contents included a collection of contemporary works acquired across the principal’s time in the UK and in Asia, a quantity of bespoke commissioned furniture, and several pieces of family inheritance shipped originally from the principal’s country of origin. The contemporary works and bespoke furniture were condition reported, photographed, and crated. The international consignment to Dubai was prepared with full export documentation by our team, with sea and air freight coordinated to match the principal’s planned arrival in the receiving country.
The move closed within the agreed budget and timeline, with the St George’s Hill residence handed back to the managing agent in broom-clean condition on the agreed date, and the principal confirmed that the discretion and precision of the estate coordination had been exactly what the project required.
Weybridge draws new residents from across the world, particularly to the private estates, and Williams and Yates are equally at home coordinating an inbound move as an outbound one. Whether your possessions are arriving from another London or UK address, or from an overseas residence, our team manages the receiving side of your move with the same precision we bring to every stage. For international arrivals, this includes port clearance, Transfer of Residence relief applications where eligible, and discreet delivery to your new Weybridge address, with any liaison required with the St George’s Hill, Burwood Park, or other estate offices handled by our team.
The standards we hold ourselves to are formalised in our FIDI and FAIM accreditations, recognised internationally as the benchmark for cross-border household relocations, and in our membership of the British Association of Removers. Transit and storage insurance is comprehensive, with cover calibrated to the values typical of a Weybridge move, and the specifics are reviewed openly with you at survey stage. We do not disclose client identities, we do not photograph residences without written permission, and every member of our team is bound by a confidentiality agreement from their first day in the business.
Our AccreditationsIf you are planning a move from Weybridge, whether to a country residence, a London address, or an international destination, we would be delighted to discuss the details with you, your household manager, or your family office. Every enquiry is handled with full discretion, and there is no obligation following an initial survey.
