The Esher Park Estate operates a private road system with gate access regulated by the estate office. Our Move Coordinator submitted access paperwork fourteen working days ahead of the move, arranged vehicle passes for the loading vehicles and the support crew vehicle, and confirmed loading time windows that worked around the estate’s noise and access guidelines. A second day was planned for the final clearance and handover, with the gate pass extended accordingly.
The family’s possessions included a collection of equestrian paintings reflecting the family’s involvement with the local racing community, several inherited pieces of nineteenth-century English furniture, and a quantity of contemporary art acquired during their time in Surrey. The equestrian paintings and inherited furniture travelled in dedicated climate-controlled transit, with all customs and export documentation prepared by our team and Transfer of Residence relief applied where eligible. Selected contemporary works accompanied the family to France, with the remainder placed into our London storage facility pending a decision on their permanent home.
The international leg to France was handled in-house by Williams and Yates, with our crew accompanying the removal vehicles.
