Duties & Taxes
- Household goods owned and used for at least 6 months are generally imported duty-free if you are transferring your main residence to Cyprus.

- Alcohol and vehicles may be subject to duty depending on origin and use.

Importing Vehicles to Cyprus
Eligibility & Requirements
To qualify for duty-free import, vehicles arriving from the UK (non-EU) must:

In addition, you’ll need to provide:

Vehicles that do not meet the duty-free criteria — such as new or high-value cars — may be subject to import duty (10%) and VAT (currently 19%), calculated on the CIF value (Cost + Insurance + Freight).
